We pride ourselves in having a safe, clean and smoke free home. We give lots of care and attention to providing good quality resources and to ensuring that there are activities for all ages of children. Our playroom is bright and colourful with a plentiful supply of toys. We plan for lots of messy and creative play, from crayoning to painting, exploring cornflour, sand, playdough, baking, sticking, and chalking.

Our village location is ideally situated for parents commuting via the M4 and the A33. We live within walking distance to Lambs Lane Primary School and a short driving distance from Shinfield Primary School and Grazeley School. We have a Holiday Club for school aged children during school holidays.

Our setting is within short walking distance to parks, the library, local shops and garden centres, and we are frequent visitors to all of them. We also travel further afield to farms, soft play centres, forest areas and toddler groups.

Lisa graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Studies in 2008. She has over 12 years experience caring for toddler and pre-school aged children in Nursery Settings. Lisa has also been the Manager of a small private Nursery. Her responsibilities included ensuring the safety and welfare of the children, organising fundraising events, training for staff members and to create a happy, safe and fun environment for the children. Lisa has also had short term experience working as a Nanny.

Kirk first began his career working in a number of retail stores. He became a Cook in a childrens Nursery in 2009 , providing meals for up to 40 children each day. Whilst there, he developed an interest in being amongst children and had found that he had a natural confidence with them. This led him to taking on a more practical role as a Nursery Assistant, supporting the staff with the care of the children in the rooms.

We are both members of PACEY (Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years). As members of PACEY, we uphold strong principles and values, we take an ethical approach to our childcare practice, we adhere to policies and procedures and we will be positive role models to children, parents and carers.

We are First Aid trained, DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checked and trained in Safeguarding.  We have completed a Food Hygiene Level 2 Course and we continue to add to our Professional Development by attending regular training courses that cover a variety of topics.

We have Public Liability Insurance and Household Insurance.
